During the VSK+E fair, ATAG Heating is putting an innovation in the spotlight: the ATAG Interion, a hybrid heat pump without an outdoor unit. With this, ATAG offers a solution to a major bottleneck in the preservation of Dutch homes.
"Many typical Dutch houses, such as row houses and apartments, simply do not have room for a heat pump with an outdoor unit," says Rob Maassen, general manager of ATAG Verwarming. "The compact Interion is placed indoors, usually in the attic next to the central heating boiler, where the installer is used to working."
Installation within one day
The unit is designed for quick installation and operates whisper quietly. "For installers, it is a plug-and-play solution that can often be installed in one day. And housing corporations benefit from faster sustainability thanks to fewer permits or objections in the neighborhood," Maassen said.

Safe and future-oriented
The Interion uses less than 152 grams of the natural refrigerant R290. This makes the heat pump safe to place indoors without having to apply all kinds of safety features. Similar to a refrigerator that can, in fact, also be placed anywhere in the house.
Broadly applicable
"For us, the VSK+E is the moment to introduce the market to the new generation of heat pumps," says Maassen. "A step towards feasible and widely applicable sustainability of the Dutch housing stock."
ATAG and Brink on one stand
Another first: ATAG Heating and Brink Climate Systems are jointly at the VSK+E. Under the motto 'Growing Together' the companies, both part of the international Ariston Group, join forces. For installers, housing corporations and project developers, this means simpler projects, higher quality and future-proof results.
You will find ATAG Heating and Brink Climate Systems in hall 8, stand A007.
