At the VSK+E fair, innovation in installation technology is never far away. One of the regulars at the event is CaTeC b.v., a specialist in measurement solutions that has been active in the Benelux for over three decades. Reason enough to talk to Johan van Lieverlooy, who explains their role in the changing landscape of climate engineering on behalf of CaTeC.
What can visitors expect from you at the VSK+E fair?
"During the fair, we especially want to show where our strength lies: reliable measurement solutions for a variety of applications," says Van Lieverlooy. "We focus on sensors and transmitters for industrial processes, indoor climate, meteorology and installation technology, among others. In addition, we show data loggers and advanced measurement equipment for scientific use."
What makes CaTeC distinctive in this market?
According to Van Lieverlooy, CaTeC is not just about supplying hardware. "Over the years we have built a strong partnership with international manufacturers of sensor technology. That connection ensures that we are involved in product developments at an early stage. That gives us - and our customers - a technological edge."
Technology is one thing, but what about service?
"Our service does not stop with the delivery," Van Lieverlooy emphasizes. "We have our own calibration and service department, offer on-site technical support and can fully integrate systems into existing installations. In this way, we take a lot of worries away from our customers."
Why is participation in the VSK+E so important for CaTeC?
"For us, this is a place to share knowledge and get in touch with professionals in the field. We notice that more and more attention is being paid to accurate measurements, for example in the context of energy savings and indoor climate. Our measurement instrumentation helps make those parameters transparent and improve them."
Finally, what does CaTeC want to give visitors?
"Our people are ready with advice - whether it is a standard question or a complex challenge. Visitors are welcome to visit our booth to discover what 30 years of craftsmanship and innovation can mean for them."
