Nominations for the VSK+E Awards 2026 announced
Today the organization of VSK+E, the trade fair for the total installation world, announces the twelve nominees for the VSK+E Awards 2026. The winners will receive the biennial installation awards on the opening day of the largest installation trade fair in the Netherlands. The nominations will also be on display in the VSK+E Awards Gallery. VSK+E will take place from Tuesday, February 3 to Friday, February 6, 2026 in Royal Jaarbeurs.
Participants in the VSK+E could submit their novelties to a ten-member professional jury led by Techniek Nederland chairman Mark Harbers over the past period. Seventy-three entries were judged on innovation, solution orientation, practical applicability, social impact, sustainability and future-proofing. Given the digital developments within the sector, this edition added the Digitalization category for the first time. The other categories are: Grip on Tomorrow's Energy, Installer Matters and Healthy Buildings, Better Lives.
Innovation makes the difference in a dynamic year for the installation industry
The installation industry is on the eve of a year full of opportunities and challenges. New techniques, stricter regulations and a growing demand for sustainability require innovation and craftsmanship. Mark Harbers, chairman of Techniek Nederland, emphasizes, "This is precisely why the VSK+E Awards are so important: they show how smart solutions, from prefab to digital tools, help us work faster, better and more efficiently. These innovations are making a difference in a sector that is crucial to the energy transition." The expert jury sees that the market is taking up these challenges energetically. Think of prefab installations, easy to install (hybrid) heat pumps, smart solutions that ensure faster installation and service apps that provide technicians with knowledge immediately. Improved products and services also contribute to a sector that is ready to make the energy transition a reality.
