Smart DucoBox with ExtensionHub | DUCO Ventilation & Sun Control
The smart DucoBox with ExtensionHub integrates control of ventilation, shading and natural ventilatory cooling into one intelligent platform. Control from the ventilation box itself makes the system autonomous, low-tech, energy-efficient and low-maintenance - without dependence on air conditioners, cloud services or complex BMS systems. Decisions are made locally, based on internal sensors in the home and the Duco Weather Station that relays information on solar radiation, wind, rain and outdoor temperature. The software is based on the principle of "the ladder of cooling," a structured approach to preventing overheating.
Commendable combination of ventilation, shading and summer night ventilation, judges. Solar shading is essential in new construction (where is the obligation?) and that it will work smartly is a plus. This system helps prevent the home from heating up by automatically controlling the blinds and ventilates away heat that has entered the home during the day at night. The technology can work with both system C and system D, covering a large part of the market. Big plus: the control option with Homey has also made its appearance at DUCO.
