BEN: Dual-AIR | Inventum Technologies
BEN Dual-AIR is an indoor heat pump that heats, cools, ventilates and supplies domestic hot water. The compact heat pump operates without an outdoor unit and draws its energy from ventilation return air, outdoor air or a combination of both - an advantage for larger or moderately insulated homes. Energy normally lost through ventilation is efficiently reused. When heat demand increases, the system automatically switches in outside air. The unit uses R290 as the refrigerant, and can operate in either hybrid or all-electric mode. With app for monitoring, updates and grip on comfort, health and consumption.
A well-developed, slick ventilation heat pump that is promising for much of the Dutch market. The BEN Dual-AIR is in fact an indoor air-water heat pump with ventilation air as an additional source, observes the jury. Because of that outside air connection, hardly any comfort complaints are to be expected. Inventum has learned a lot from signals from the market and applied them.
