Speaker(s):

The installation market is changing rapidly. This applies to both the type of heat generator and the delivery system we install. But this certainly also applies to the post-control. Anyone who really puts the customer's needs first cannot escape zone control. Moreover, legislation requires us to use zone control more and more, especially in combination with heat pumps. And in order to give the heat pump a break, night reduction is still useful and necessary.

Arnold Bakker, application specialist at Resideo tells in his presentation how consultants, designers, planners, project managers and installers can deal with this. How do you really get everything out of the heating installation and give the consumer what they actually ask for, namely personal comfort in every room. Arnold Bakker provides an insight into the do's and don'ts of smart, wireless zone controls. With the right knowledge about standardization in zone control according to regulations and comfort needs, you will soon know how to save time, increase comfort and heat energy efficiently.

Speaker(s):

The transition to efficient building is in full swing. Still, installations are responsible for an average of one third of the total environmental burden in new construction and renovations. Strict legislation and strategic objectives of clients ensure that the environmental burden must be substantially reduced. This calls for more attention to material use and reuse: circularity is essential in order to strengthen and redeploy installations not only effectively, but also sustainably.
What is going on in this area? What trends do we see alongside other themes such as energy, health and heat stress? Which frontrunners are already taking steps? And what practical tools are there to get started tomorrow? During this session of the Dutch Green Building Council (DGBC), companies from the field will share how they are shaping circular products and services. Meet Edwin van Noort, director of programs and projects DGBC. Panelists: - Jeroen van Kampen, Sustainability & Circularity Coordinator at Itho Daalderop - Marc Kooij, Senior Business Development Manager at SPIE Netherlands - Pim Loef, Sustainability Manager Netherlands and Belgium at Schneider Electric.

Since September 29, 2025, mechanics who work with natural refrigerants must also be certified.This certification obligation already existed for working with F-gases. This means that current and future technicians must (re)certify in time to meet the requirements.

Depending on which certificates you currently hold, additional exams will have to be taken to meet the new obligations. NVKL has developed a handy interactive customer journey to see which theory and/or practical exams you need to take to meet the requirements based on your current certificates, or which exemptions you are eligible for.

For taking the theoretical exam, NVKL has developed an online learning platform especially for the sector to facilitate mastering this theory. Get informed during this session on how to get and keep your certification in order.

Icoon VSK+E Theater W

Speaker(s):

Overheating is increasingly causing sleepless nights, health complaints and higher energy demand. The urgency often increases, but solutions remain ad hoc. This presentation shows how an integral approach leads to more comfortable and future-proof buildings without using much energy for cooling. The focus is on the new ISSO report Integral Design for Summer Comfort, with the 'Layers of Cooling' at its core.

This method takes measures in the exterior space, building envelope and installation, with attention to behavior and use. The power of combinations of measures are illustrated by building simulations and perception research conducted by the Hogeschool van Amsterdam.

With propositions via Mentimeter, common misconceptions are tested and discussed. The session offers practical solutions for architects, designers and manufacturers who want to contribute to healthy, powerful buildings - ready for tomorrow's climate. This session will be hosted by Thomas Krcevinac of ISSO.

Everyone in the chain works with data: from manufacturer to wholesaler, and from installation company to project organization. Yet in practice this often costs extra time and money. Think of different versions, manual corrections, missing information and misunderstandings that only come to light later. Remeha, Rensa Family, 2BA and Ketenstandaard have been working for years on structurally organizing data better - within the Netherlands and across the border. In this session they will share how they approach this, what it yields and where there are obstacles along the way. When does good data really help to order faster, recover less, be more findable and work in a scalable way? And where do things go wrong as soon as volumes grow, systems don't understand each other or agreements are missing? You will hear practical lessons from daily practice, mirrored by recognizable situations from the audience. The common thread: data is no longer a technical detail, but directly affects costs, collaboration and commercial strength - in every type of organization. For anyone who wants to lose less time on repairs and corrections, and get a better grip on purchasing, execution, service and growth.
