Technical developments
New techniques for developing sensors, batteries and communication are finding their way into the latest measuring instruments. This not only makes them more durable and user-friendly, but also increases the accuracy and reliability of measurement results. Tightened or new regulations often make good measurement reporting necessary. Several manufacturers are therefore developing handy software or apps that receive measurement results directly from the measuring instrument and generate a digital measurement report. "There is now already reporting software available that communicates in real time with certain measuring instruments" says Marco van Raavens, content manager at EURO-INDEX b.v. "The measurement values are recorded directly in the right place in a measurement report, without having to save them first and communicate them manually to a laptop or tablet. This saves the user a lot of time".
EURO-INDEX Academy
New instruments, measurement techniques and regulations require user knowledge. Marco van Raavens: "We regularly organize information sessions and workshops for our customers, where they gain knowledge and learn skills that make work more efficient. These sessions take place both in our own training room in Capelle aan den IJssel and at training rooms of manufacturers and training institutes around the country. In addition to these classroom sessions, it is also possible to receive 1-on-1 training on location."
Maintenance and calibration
EURO-INDEX is not only a manufacturer, importer and distributor of various brands of measuring instruments, but of many brands it is also an authorized service center. This means that EURO-INDEX can periodically maintain, calibrate and, if necessary, repair the instruments with original parts and the correct software and tools. This leaves the factory warranty and any certification of the instrument intact.
