The Valetis Slim is an insulated angled roof penetration for return air. This version has a cover part. This means that this product fits seamlessly to the roofline and barely protrudes above the roof tiles. This gives the installer the possibility to mount the transit also under the solar panels. The angled roof penetration reduces the opening in the roof, the shorter air outlet ensures less resistance. The Valetis Slim is available in an insulated version with a diameter of 150-160 mm. Suitable for all types of roof tiles and for roof pitches between 15 and 67 degrees.
A simple and clever design, is the verdict of the expert jury. Aesthetically more beautiful than a pipe on the roof. Not a completely new idea, but a very good further development of the angled penetration Ventus that won prizes at the VSK+E Awards in 2022. Especially also a very welcome solution, because installers puzzle with the location of ducts of the flue, ventilation and the ubiquitous PV panels. The Valetis Slim provides more placement options, especially since this product can go ónder the PV panels. This makes it a practical, aesthetic and safe solution for the discharge of extracted ventilation air. What the jury also found commendable: installing a grommet is a big job, often overlooked.
